Our fourth trip to Eleuthera but our first time here at this home. Great location. The hammock and the deck were my favorite part of this house. Hope to go back. Wish it was tomorrow. Ken was great & his caretaker perfect.
Our family stayed for a week at Tropical Impulse. The home and beach were wonderful. The location was perfect - it gave us the opportunity to travel north and south and enjoy the beaches Eleuthera has to offer.
The owner was an excellent source of information on the secrets of the island. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation paradise.
Spacious, well-equipped house on beautiful secluded beach perfect for r&r. Enjoyed cocktails and grilling on large deck overlooking the ocean. Good snorkling off beach with many fine coral reefs. Easy access to everything around Governor’s Harbour/Palmetto Point. Would definitely stay here again.
Eleuthera Island is magnificent, beautiful, relaxing… So many wonderful things. At the end of the day exploring, hiking, snorkeling, or just sightseeing, we were so happy to come home to Tropical Impulse. As beautiful as Eleuthera it is, I would not describe it as luxurious. The house, however, was always a lovely oasis to return to at the end of the day. Highly recommend; hope to return ourselves someday soon. Great for families, couples, or small groups of eight people or so.
We spend one week in paradise. The house is beautiful And completely equipped, the 30 seconds walk private beach is amazing And Kenneth is one of the most gentle host We ever had.
This home is situated on what seems a very secluded beach but is walkable for some distance. The location is removed from all the island’s activities, but within minutes of attaining groceries, the Queen’s hwy, a bit to eat. So its private, but everything is just around the corner!! The house itself has literally everything you want, spacious, very very clean, and 3 separate bedrooms with their own baths, so makes travelling with older children, or couples perfect. The separate suite downstairs is perfect if you need the extra space. The host and owner is extremely accommodating, and maintains his property beautifully. We have travelled extensively throughout the Bahamas out islands, been to Eleuthera at least half a dozen times and would definitely return to rent this home specifically. The pictures on the site are accurate, and yet you still can never capture the full appreciation of the view in front of the home. The turquoise waters, white sand and the waves went from serene calm to playfully rolling, and their is snorkelling right off the beach in front of the house!!
This was the best family vacation we have ever had. The home is absolutely beautiful. We saw the gorgeous beach from every room. The downstairs room is very secluded and private. During our 8 day stay, we only saw 3 other people walking on the beach. If you are looking to spend some quality time with your loved ones this is definitely the place to go. Our family will remember this vacation forever. We went to the Friday Night Dinner in Governer’s Harbor, snorkeled and fished with Denny, went to Preachers Cave, checked out the Glass Window Bridge and took the ferry over to Harbour Island. The best time was at the house or at the beach, just enjoying the beauty of Eleuthera. The clear bottom kayak was the coolest thing ever (make sure you watch the “weight” you put in it) One adult and one child…..not 2 adults, my husband and I almost sank it. Make sure you check out the conch fritters, they are tasty!! You will want to utilize the kitchen to cook some meals, you can pack frozen meat and take it with you in your check on luggage. We have been home for 3 months now and I am READY to go back. This is definitely the place to go for a lifetime of memories. Once you have been here you will want to come back every year (at least once a year).

The house was just perfect for our family. And the few hick ups we had were taken care of in a very timely fashion. Hopeful to return at some point!!
Tropical impulse is a beautiful peaceful place. Wonderful private beach, nicely kept up home, and peace and quiet. The owner is always helpful and friendly. Caretaker is there anytime needed and goes out of his way to make your stay great. We had an awesome time during our stay.
This beautiful house on Eluthera is the best vacation I have ever had. The house was clean, furnished well, and the ocean front view was spectacular. The beach was beautiful, we snorkeled for hours at a time. My family and I really hated to leave. Had I not known that it was rented for the following week, I would have extended our stay. Mingo, the caretaker was very helpful. He was right there to help within minutes with directions or for any questions. We found several nice places to eat, but found ourselves just grilling alot and staying in. We would like to go back and will be looking forward to it.

great private beach with unbelievable pink sand!!! The home is remote but close to all attractions in Governor's Harbor. perfect for persons looking for no other guests on the beach, wonderful quiet swims, and nicely appointed home. We tried very hard to think of something we would have required that was not included. Great beaches nearby when the Atlantic "side" is windy. Be sure to attend the Friday Nite Fish Fry and look for HENRY to dance for you to a Michael Jackson song!!!
Loved the view from the bedrooms, main area, and the lanai. Palm trees frame the beach view and sway in the wind just like in your favorite island movie. We all enjoyed the large, sandy, rock free, beach area in front of the house. Spent everyday in the warm water swimming and kayaking. Opened the windows and doors, the entire time, and enjoyed the ocean breeze. Loved the house and all the vegetation surrounding it. Wonderful to have the open living environment especially after and long Ohio winter. Everyone was very friendly and laid back. The only problem was trying to return to work and pretend not to still be running on "island time". Thank you Ken for answering all our questions and tips for a enjoyable stay. Thanks for the great memories and we will return.

Our stay at Tropical Impulse was everything we had hoped it would be. Lots of fun in the sun, beautiful, secluded beach and amazing aquamarine water. The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. The views from the deck where breath taking and the kids even enjoyed a game or two of shuffleboard. The owner, Ken was very easy to contact and communicate with. You will need transportation to reach this slice of paradise and to see the rest of the island, but renting a car was not difficult. We had a wonderful time during our stay here.
